Business History
Established a business for clock and watch repair in Boston, Massachusetts in 1978. A third generation horologist, skilled in meticulous restoration and preservation of fine timepieces, the business serves private collectors, historical and preservation societies, museums, financial institutions, law firms, universities, and insurance companies.

Business Specialty
MGP, Inc. specializes in the restoration of antique timepieces circa 1700 - 1940. All parts necessary to restore operation of antique timepieces are made by hand. Our specialty is restoration of French and English Carriage Clocks, Early Tall Case Clocks, Banjo, Regulator and Bracket Clocks, and restoration of fine pocket watches.

Education
The family tradition of clock and watch restoration began with my grandfather who was employed by both the Howard Clock Company and Waltham Watch Company in the early 1900's. His son apprenticed under him, and my apprenticeship began with my father when I was age ten. After completing my education, I apprenticed for two years with a master clockmaker from Ireland.
